On average, it takes 30 to 60 days from accepted offer to closing. However, the full process — including searching, making offers, inspections, and financing — can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months depending on the market and your situation.
Buyers should budget for closing costs (typically 2–5% of the purchase price), home inspection fees, appraisal fees, and moving expenses. In Hawaii, there may also be additional conveyance taxes, and in Florida, title insurance and documentary stamp taxes are common costs to plan for.
